Galoosquwach'n-Abee is a talking stick or talking feather used by native spokes-people. Speaking with the Galoosquwach'n-Abee reminds both the speaker and audience to have respect for each other and listen carefully without judgment. Yat Kitischee Native Center honors this ethic.

Protecting Mother Earth, Oositgamoo, is a primary concern of indigenous peoples throughout the world. We work to defend Mother Earth by fighting energy, environment, and natural resource issues around the globe.

WAHKOCHOBEE EARTH-CHARTER PROJECT
Wahkochobee Earth-Charter Project is an environmental and earth-ethics educational project. Wahkochobee is based on caring for the earth and having reverence for all life. Our project promotes the "Earth Charter's" values and principles for a sustainable future. This philosophy follows the indigenous peoples' ethic of being concerned for future generations of all life.
